Watch for spud trucks!

Everyone be careful on my road today! Some have already started harvest, so there are some big trucks going by!

Also, we are measuring for costumes today, so please be at dance...unless your dancer is sick! If they are, please call me and we can take the measurements over the phone! Thanks!

New kitties in my garage!

Hey! Dance is going so great. Last week was so much fun for me. The girls are really starting to warm up to me and the new ones are starting to get the hang of "my style". Just as a FYI, I would like to size for costumes the week before we get out for harvest break (next Wed. the 29th). So PLEASE make sure your dancer is there...if there is an issue that day, please just let me know and I can get her measurements over the phone! :)

Also, our cat had a litter of kittens on Sunday and she keeps them in the garage...would you all please just be aware of this in case you have little ones that get away from you? We don't want them touching the kitties just yet! :) Thank you!!!

First day

The first day of dance went pretty smoothly for the most part. I am excited to get to know the girls better...the first couple of weeks are a bit rough around the edges...I am really trying to get a feel for what each individual girl is capable of...I do not want anyone feeling "lost" or out of sorts when learning the dance. Please keep in mind if you stay and watch that for now things are going to be a bit slow, but will definitely gain momentum as time goes on. Dance begins tomorrow!!!

I am so excited to begin a new year of teaching dance. I have some fun, new ideas that I hope will get your girls excited to attend dance each week. Please keep in mind a few things:

First, please be aware of our telephone box in the parking lot. Who knew 40 years ago when the house was built that we would need that area to park! :) Please just don't back into it!!!

Second, please have your dancer go to the bathroom BEFORE coming to class and if possible, bring a drink for them...if you forget I do have cups in the bathroom!

Third, please keep all of my doors into the gym shut...we don't want any furry friends of any sort joining us!!

Fourth, if you bring snacks for you children waiting, please don't bring them anything that can spill (like yogurt, applesauce, etc...) fruit snacks and crackers are fine...I just want to avoid scrubbing the carpet as much as possible! Also, if you have kids in the waiting room please be aware if they are playing with my window....some kids like to use it as a car ramp! :) I do provide some toys for them to play with.
