The game is CANCELLED!!!!

I just got word from the South Fremont High school and apparently the team they were playing (Driggs) got too much snow today and they closed the road to get here. So the game is cancelled, we may end up performing Tuesday night if they make it up, but I will keep you posted through the blog. PLEASE check this again on Monday!! They ARE NOT SURE WHAT THEY ARE DOING, so please just keep checking this! Thanks!

NO Dance TUESDAY the 17th! Madison is out of school, so we will not hold dance today. We will see you all at the performance tomorrow night!!!

Thanks to all of you who came to the dress rehearsal on Saturday! I think the girls looked great!

Dress Rehearsal! (and hair info...)

Please remember Dress Rehearsal is tomorrow, Saturday January 14th from 3:30-4:30 at the old Madison High School. (formerly Madison Jr. High). Girls MUST be dressed in full costume, but hair does not need to be done. Thank you for all your cooperation!

No Tuesday class this week...I didn't realize until my kids came home from school today that Madison is out on Tuesday for Inservice, so we won't have dance that day, either. WE will have it the following Tuesday (the 24th).

Also, NO Wednesday classes until February 8th, due to all the Wednesday performances...sorry but I had no control over available games and they happened to fall on Wednesdays. So all Middle Schoolers will need to ride the bus HOME for the next 3 Wednesdays. We will resume normal schedule on Feb. 8th.

All times listed on the side bar is the time you HAVE to be at the game, ready to go. Admittance will be charged for you to enter the high school gyms.

Hair for performances:

"Leader of Pack"- High back pony with tie in

"Boyfriend's Back" Down and lots of full curls

"Dancing queen"- Down with headband in and flipped up at the bottom.

"Beat it"- Sides pulled up and ratty :)

"Pump up the Jam"- Low side pony, curled on left side of head (behind left ear)

"Love Me" -Left side Messy bun, as spiky and funky as you can get it!

Pictures are tentatively scheduled for February 14th and 15th...those will take place during normal class times in my gym. More info. on that later!!!

Please label costumes and tights and hold on to all gloves...what you have is what you get. There are no extras!

Dance is normal schedule this week and next, but please remember the dress rehearsal Saturday, January 14th from 3:30-4:30 at the MJH. (old Madison high school). THIS IS MADATORY. We perform the following Wednesday (the 18th)- check the schedule along the right hand side of this blog. The time listed is the time you MUST be there, dressed and ready to go. Unfortunately, this year some of the only halftimes available were on Wednesday only, so on those days we will not hold the regular dance class. Only the performance.

Also, I feel it is a good time to give you all a heads up that this will be my LAST year teaching dance. It is a hard decision, but my own 3 daughters want to move on and I feel it is time for me to put all my energy into their talents and be available to them. I wanted you all to know now so you can be looking for another dance company for the upcoming year. Thank you all so much.

Important Dance Information!

Next Tuesday and Wednesday we will have a Christmas Pizza Party. All Tuesday classes will come Tuesday (the 20^th) at

3:15-4:00. All Wednesday classes will meet at 4:15-5:15 on Wednesday (the 21^st). We will eat pizza and perform our dances for each other. It should be fun!

We will NOT hold dance the week between Christmas and New Year’s. We will start back on Tuesday, Jan. 3^rd and Wed. the 4^th.

Our annual, mandatory Dress Rehearsal is Saturday, January 14^th at the old Madison High School (now MJH) from 3:30-4:30. We will be squeezed in between city rec basketball games, so PLEASE be there on time!!!

All costumes need to be paid for in full the first week of January. The cost of all the costumes is listed on the blog on the right hand side under the picture of the costume. Everyone has paid the initial $20 deposit, but most of you still owe for the remaining balance. If there is a question, call me or come in and take a look at your payment envelope in the waiting room. Tights are also needed to be paid for in full the first of January. All tights are an even $10. The only class NOT needing tights are “Dancing Queen”.

All dancers need to be in costume for the recital. Tights are optional. There is only one pair per girl, so if you rip them, you are on your own to buy new ones. Hair does not need to be done the same way for rehearsal, just the performances. Our first performance is Wed. January 18^th at the South Fremont High School. You must arrive and be in full costume by 7:30. We will meet on the stage. For a list of all other performances, please keep checking the blog (again, right hand side).

“Boyfriends back”- Down and curly all over

“Dancing queen”- Down and flipped up on the bottom, headband

“Beat it”- high back ponytail ratted (kinda crazy, no curls)

Dress Rehearsal set for January 14th!

The MANDATORY Dress rehearsal is set for Saturday, January 14th from 3:30-4:30 at the old Madison High School (now Madison Jr. High). THIS IS A MUST FOR ALL DANCERS!!! We perform the next week, so this will be very important to have all the dancers get to. Thanks! Please let me know if something does come up and your dancer cannot be there. Please put this on your calendars!

Also, tights are on their way...those along with the costume need to be paid in full by the first week of January! Please come inside the gym to find out how much you owe for both, all tights are $10! Thanks!

Also, the Tuesday at 4:15 classes costumes are a little big. If your daughter is in this class and you were not there this week, please be sure to come in and pay for your costume this week so you can take it and alter it if needed. Some of the pants are just too long and it is a quick and easy fix, but I do want to allow enough time for you all to do so. any questions please call. Also, this class does not need tights. thanks

I am back and ready to dance! Hope to see you all there this week! we have lots of polishing to do! We will take the week of Christmas off...it's only one week this year so that is good! Thanks for your patience and understanding with taking the last 2 weeks off. Can't wait to see all the cute little dancers this week!!!!
