NO dance this week!

Just a reminder that there will be NO dance this week...we will see you all on the 13th! thanks!

Everyone be careful on my road today! Some have already started harvest, so there are some big trucks going by!

Also, we are measuring for costumes today, so please be at dance...unless your dancer is sick! If they are, please call me and we can take the measurements over the phone! Thanks!

New kitties in my garage!

Hey! Dance is going so great. Last week was so much fun for me. The girls are really starting to warm up to me and the new ones are starting to get the hang of "my style". Just as a FYI, I would like to size for costumes the week before we get out for harvest break (next Wed. the 29th). So PLEASE make sure your dancer is there...if there is an issue that day, please just let me know and I can get her measurements over the phone! :)

Also, our cat had a litter of kittens on Sunday and she keeps them in the garage...would you all please just be aware of this in case you have little ones that get away from you? We don't want them touching the kitties just yet! :) Thank you!!!

First day

The first day of dance went pretty smoothly for the most part. I am excited to get to know the girls better...the first couple of weeks are a bit rough around the edges...I am really trying to get a feel for what each individual girl is capable of...I do not want anyone feeling "lost" or out of sorts when learning the dance. Please keep in mind if you stay and watch that for now things are going to be a bit slow, but will definitely gain momentum as time goes on. Please let me know if there are any problems or questions you may have. Thank you!!!!

Dance begins tomorrow!!!

I am so excited to begin a new year of teaching dance. I have some fun, new ideas that I hope will get your girls excited to attend dance each week. Please keep in mind a few things:

First, please be aware of our telephone box in the parking lot. Who knew 40 years ago when the house was built that we would need that area to park! :) Please just don't back into it!!!

Second, please have your dancer go to the bathroom BEFORE coming to class and if possible, bring a drink for them...if you forget I do have cups in the bathroom!

Third, please keep all of my doors into the gym shut...we don't want any furry friends of any sort joining us!!

Fourth, if you bring snacks for you children waiting, please don't bring them anything that can spill (like yogurt, applesauce, etc...) fruit snacks and crackers are fine...I just want to avoid scrubbing the carpet as much as possible! Also, if you have kids in the waiting room please be aware if they are playing with my window....some kids like to use it as a car ramp! :) I do provide some toys for them to play with.

The following are class lists and song titles for this school year. If you have an asterisk* by your dancers name, that means I still need a registration form and fees. Keep in mind the older classes are a little larger this year because of the change I made this year to combine the ages so I could expand. If there is a mistake with the class I have your daughter in, please let me know. Registration forms for this year!

Hello one and all! Welcome back (or to) Sugar -n- Spice Dance Co.! We are excited to begin another year of dance. I sent registration forms out a few weeks ago (either by e-mail or mail) and I have not heard back from a lot of you. If you still are planning on dancing with us this year, please respond to the form asap!! Thank you all so much for your time and cooperation with this. I have a few girls wanting to get in to the classes, so I need to start getting a final head count. The due date on the forms was the 1st, and I want to give until the 14th before I start filling in spots with those on the waiting list. Please let me know if you are not planning on dancing with us this year! Thanks and I cannot wait to see you all and start having fun!
